Wild grown. Hand farmed. The Toraja Mountain Coffee way. The only way.
We aren’t a commercial agricultural corporation. We’re coffee fiends. Lovers of flavor. Sustainability. And exotic offerings. That’s why we follow a few basic principles when we select, roast and sell Indonesian coffee.
First, there are no pesticides. No chemicals. No commercial farming trucks. No Big industry pollution. From hand, to basket, to shipping crate, to roaster to you. It’s important, first and foremost, that we get the most impressive flavor through the least disruptive farming practices.
Second, for every plant that stops growing and producing viable coffee fruit, we’ve planted another to keep this sacred agricultural practice alive. In fact, we’ve planted more than we’ve picked, allowing us to continue cultivating more coffee in the mountains of Toraja than ever before.
And lastly, we are the only Toraja-originated coffee company in the United States. And with our partners in the region, we will continue to be the only ones, allowing for us to meticulously maintain these productive practices that contribute to greener, more sustainable farming practices than commercial farmers ever could.
